The activities of the "Emirates Innovation Month", the national event to celebrate innovation and creativity at the state level, are launched under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, during the period from 1 to 29 February under the slogan "Emirates innovates to prepare for its fifty" It includes about 1,000 activities from 120 government and private agencies.

This came during a media session held yesterday at the headquarters of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Governmental Innovation in Dubai, in the presence of the coordinators of the UAE month for innovation at the country level and representatives of federal government agencies to introduce the topics of the month and its most prominent orientations and activities directed to society.

The director of the center’s administration, Shatha Al-Hashimi, explained that the month aims to create qualitative leaps and embrace innovative ideas that form new solutions for future challenges and turn them into a reality that positively reflects on the quality of life of individuals in the UAE society, and enhance cooperation and integration between the various federal and local government agencies to make them the most innovative country on World level.

She continued: «The month will witness the launch of the largest national challenge under the slogan (Challenge of Fifty) to design the future of the UAE, which is the largest national competition for innovation that contributes to shaping the life form in the UAE, launched for the first time within the activities and organized at the level of the UAE in seven major stations.

Promoting development

Organizing the Emirates Innovation Month promotes development in the country and consolidates its position as a global center for innovation, and aims to make qualitative leaps and embrace innovative ideas that form new solutions to future challenges.
