Amal al-Hilali - Tunisia

The Ennahda Movement called on Prime Minister-designate Elias Al-Fakhakh to expand his consultations to include all parties without exclusion, nor did she exclude in a statement her hypothesis to dissolve parliament and move towards early legislative elections, in a position seen by many as a pressure card from the movement and a veiled threat to the traps that excluded the heart of Tunisia from the consultations of his government.

Al-Fakhfakh announced during a press symposium that he invited all political parties to the consultations to form his government except for the "Heart of Tunisia" and the "free constitutional" affiliated with the previous regime, considering that he does not see these two parties in line with his government program, the values of the revolution, and the vision of the President of the Republic.

And the head of Ennahda Movement, Rashid Ghannouchi, had previously called on the Prime Minister-designate to involve the heart of Tunisia in the upcoming government coalition in favor of the national interest, and within the framework of cutting with the exclusion policy that Ennahdha previously suffered from, according to him.

Legitimacy of Parliament
The Al-Nahda Shura Council issued a statement in which it called for traps to expand its consultations to include the various parliamentary blocs with the aim of providing a broad political belt that guarantees access to a national unity government with a democratic social content. He also recommended his executive office to prepare for all possibilities, including premature elections, that the Shura Council remain in A permanent session.

The President of the Al-Nahda Shura Council, Abdel Karim Al-Harouni, during a press conference held on Monday, called on the Prime Minister-designate to respect the constitution, avoid exclusion and narrow political calculations, and search for the legitimacy of his government in Parliament and not in the presidential palace in Carthage.

Unity government
The leader of the Renaissance, Rafik Abdel Salam, said in a statement to Al-Jazeera Net that the position of the Renaissance movement towards the government of traps and its rejection of the exclusion approach is not only related to the Heart Party of Tunisia, but exceeds it for the option of a national unity government that reflects the parliamentary balances that were produced by the last legislative elections.

Regarding the movement directing its executive office to prepare for all possibilities, including early elections, Abdel Salam denied that the matter is a threat to the traps or an attempt to pressure him, pointing out that the movement will not give confidence to this government if its president clings to his position rejecting a national consensus government that does not exclude any party.

The leadership in Al-Nahda said that the prime minister-designate erred in understanding the basis of the nature of the mandate, when he considered that he derives his legitimacy from the President of the Republic, and the fact that he was charged with forming the government in light of the results of the parliamentary elections and not on revolutionary considerations.

He continued, "We did not see the traps during his presidential election campaign any revolutionary speech or an exclusionary position from certain parties when he was a rival to the President of the Republic at the time."

He stressed that Ennahdha is keen on continuing the synergy approach that it adopted since 2011 in the Troika government - Ennahdha, Al-Mutahhar and Al-Taktalom - and in 2014 with Nidaa Tounes, calling for traps to respect the results of the fund, regardless of the name of the party.

Exclusionary step
The Heart of Tunisia party condemned its exclusion from the consultations to form the government, describing it as "an exclusionary step that has nothing to do with democratic practice or with the modified parliamentary system on which the country's political system is based."

The party recalled in an official statement, that the text of the assignment of traps stressed that the government that will be formed will not be the government of the President of the Republic, but rather a government that the People's Assembly will give confidence, pointing out that the country's political system is a modified parliamentary system in which the legitimacy of the government is based on parliamentary legitimacy.

He called for the necessity of forming a government of national unity "based on a program implemented by political and non-political competencies that unites and unites around it for the sake of salvation while neutralizing the ministries of sovereignty."

The leader of the Democratic Current Party, Muhammad al-Hamidi, believed that Ennahdha’s position on the government of the traps and its threat not to vote for it and prepare for early elections is nothing but a political maneuver to improve the terms of negotiations with the traps and the other parties supporting it, to enable them to have a greater number of ministerial portfolios.

Al-Hamidi considered in his interview with Al-Jazeera Net that "intimidating" Ennahdha by going towards early elections does not disturb the current, and he in turn is ready for this scenario, pointing out that his party fully supports the position of the Prime Minister-designate in excluding the Tunisian Heart Party and the Free Constitutional Party from negotiations to form a government.

In his speech to Al-Jazeera Net, Secretary General of the People's Movement, Zuhair al-Maghzawi, asked what he described as the "strange clinging" of Ennahda by involving the heart of Tunisia in government formation negotiations, and if its previous electoral campaign was based on refusing to deal with this party and accusing it of corruption, as he put it.

In his speech to Al-Jazeera Net, he pointed out that the People's Movement called for the provision of an expanded political belt for the next government to ensure its stability, but he stressed in return that the prime minister is free to choose his political belt supporting him and his government team according to his options and his own vision.

The positions of political leaders and activists in Tunisia differed regarding the position of the Prime Minister-designate of excluding the heart of Tunisia, and the announcement by Al-Nahda Movement of its readiness for all possibilities, including going towards early legislative elections.
