Third honest? UK announces design of commemorative coins after withdrawal from EU January 27 8:22
Prior to its withdrawal from the European Union, the British government has announced the design of a 50p coin issued to commemorate the withdrawal.
The UK has decided to issue a commemorative 50p coin to coincide with its withdrawal from the EU on 31st of this month and announced its design on 26th.
The coins are marked with the date of the withdrawal date, "January 31, 2020" and the words "Peace and prosperity and friendship with all nations".
3 million commemorative coins will be issued on the 31st of this month, and another 7 million will be issued this year.
"This coin marks the beginning of a new chapter in British history. Let's move forward with confidence and explode the country's potential," Finance Minister Jabid posted on Twitter.
Since the withdrawal of the UK from the EU has been postponed many times, the issuance of commemorative coins has been suspended twice.
