The Ministry of Education has set the second of next February, a date for the start of registration for students enrolled in the first and kindergartens for the first and second stages of the academic year 2020/2021 for citizen students and children of female citizens, and their equivalents, in government schools, and registration continues until March 12, and registration is scheduled to open In schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra) starting from the 23rd of the same month.

The Ministry indicated that students born in the year 2014 are entitled to register in the first grade, while it specified the children born in 2015 to enroll in kindergarten in the second stage, and for those born in 2016 they can enroll in kindergarten in its first stage, calling on the families of students to the need to register their children in a kindergarten Children, given the importance of this educational stage through which the child's horizons are cognitively, skilled, and socially shaped.

The Ministry affirmed the importance of registering on the aforementioned dates, in order for it to work to create the appropriate environment and organize the process of accommodating students in those educational stages, as well as providing all their needs in accordance with the highest international standards followed, pointing out that the number of students enrolled in the first kindergarten stage for the last academic year 9669 male and female students, while 9994 male and female students were admitted to the second kindergarten, in addition to 10512 male and female students in the first grade.

The Ministry requires to complete the registration of citizen students and children of female citizens, several conditions are that the student be within the legal age and does not accept the request to register students as listeners, and schools must commit to approving the student file after registration by the Ministry of Education through the Al-Manhal program, as well as government schools and kindergartens are obligated to accept New students according to their residential areas, in addition to the obligation to register students with an identity card only.

With regard to registering students of interest, the Ministry indicated that their registration is through special education support centers in all emirates of the country, and these centers will undertake the diagnosis and evaluation of students through interviews, which will be determined by these centers in coordination with parents.
