"In it, he, referring to the difficult financial situation, reports that he temporarily can not take care of the boys, but is ready to pick them up later," TASS quoted her.
Mishonova confirmed that the man left all the documents for the children and a copy of his passport.
“Today, the children will be taken to the hospital to undergo the examination necessary in such cases,” she added.
In the apparatus of the Children's Ombudsman of the Moscow Region, they plan to turn to colleagues in the Khabarovsk Territory to assist in the search for relatives of children.
The press service of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of Russia, Anna Kuznetsova, noted that the Ombudsman is in contact with departments in connection with the situation.
Earlier, the Moscow Investigation Department of Transport organized a check after the discovery of two boys born in 2011 and 2014 without adult escort in Terminal D Sheremetev.
According to preliminary data, the boys were left in the terminal by their father, with whom they flew from Khabarovsk.
