#BREAKING 22 people die in eastern Turkey earthquake, says Turkish interior minister

An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred in the eastern province of Turkey, Elazig in the evening of January 24 and was felt throughout the country. After the earthquake, 35 tremors with a magnitude of 2.7 to 5.4 were recorded.

The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrel, expressed solidarity with the people of Turkey in connection with the state of emergency.
