The Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations and Investigations in Dubai Police, Brigadier Jamal Salem Al-Jallaf, confirmed that 57 thousand and 63 people benefited from the service "inquiring about the criminal status of financial cases" during the past year, by 359 thousand and 414 inquiries, and the rate of increase in inquiries amounted to 724%. He added that the service to inquire about the criminal status of financial cases allows customers to inquire about their criminal status in financial cases registered in Dubai police stations, in addition to inquiring about travel bans in such cases, around the clock through the service available on the Dubai police applications and the Dubai police site the official.

He revealed that the percentage of using the “smart notification” service witnessed an increase during the year 2019, by 319% compared to the same period of 2018, explaining that the service is to notify the people wanted in simple amounts or forbidden to travel by text messages to end the circulars issued against them.

He added that smart reporting aims to develop the security system, pointing out that the service makes it easier for wanted persons who cannot be reached for an intended or unintended reason to know their criminal status, and accordingly this service was created.
