His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met in Paris with French Foreign Minister John Yves Laudrian.

During the meeting, they discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them, and developing aspects of joint cooperation in all fields, including education, technology and culture.

The two sides also reviewed current developments and developments in the region, in addition to issues of common concern, especially developments in Libya, Iran and Sudan.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the strategic relations between the two friendly countries and the constant desire to develop them and develop aspects of joint cooperation in various fields.

His Highness pointed out that the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi and the Louvre Abu Dhabi are a distinctive model of partnership between the two friendly countries that are not only limited to political and economic aspects, but also extend to include cultural, knowledge and scientific aspects. His Highness added that these two cognitive and cultural edifices are a symbol of intellectual and human convergence, and a title of tolerance and coexistence.

For his part, French Foreign Minister John Yves Le Drian welcomed the visit of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation, affirming the distinguished strategic relations between the two countries.
