Le Havre announced Wednesday "having found an agreement with Lyon" for a transfer of its striker Tino Kadewere which must be loaned to HAC until June 30th.

"Le Havre Athletic Club confirms that it has reached an agreement with @OL for a transfer from Tino Kadewere. However the current top scorer of Domino's Ligue 2 will remain at HAC on loan until the end of the season #MercatoHAC" , tweeted the dean club of France, current 6th in Ligue 2.

The amount of the transaction was not indicated by the Norman club but it would be fifteen million euros according to various media.

The 24-year-old Zimbabwean international, current top scorer in Ligue 2 with 18 goals in 20 games, must therefore finish the season at Le Havre before joining Olympique Lyonnais next season.

Kadewere has been playing at HAC since 2018 after going through the Swedish championship and the Stockholm-based Djugardens IF club. He was trained at Harare City FC.

OL have already strengthened their attacking sector by obtaining the loan until June 30 from Cameroonian international striker Karl Toko-Ekambi, 27, from Villarreal (Spain).

The arrival of the Cameroonian striker Ekambi should make up for the absence of the Dutch international Memphis Depay, seriously injured in one knee.

OL must also cope with the long-term unavailability of their promising midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide, also seriously injured in one knee.
