French President Emmanuel Macron affirmed yesterday during his visit to Jerusalem that "denying the existence of Israel as a state" is a form of anti-Semitism.

Macron said during a press conference with his Israeli counterpart, Reuven Rivlin: "This does not mean that it will be impossible to have disagreements, or criticism of this or that measure by the government of Israel, but denying its existence today is a contemporary form of anti-Semitism." Macron stressed that France worked and worked to fight anti-Semitism.
