“On the fact of negligence that resulted in the death of two or more persons committed by officials of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Perm Territory, a criminal case was initiated under part 3 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of Russia. Currently, in this criminal case, an employee of the supervisory unit of the Main Directorate of the Ministry for Emergencies of Russia in the Perm Territory Razif Ismakayev has been detained, ”the statement says.
At the moment, with respect to Issmakayev, the question of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
Earlier, the regional prosecutor’s office began checking all hostels and mini-hotels in the basement of the Perm Territory.
On January 20, as a result of a hot water pipe break in the Caramel Mini-Hotel in Perm, five people died and six were injured. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
