Volodin expressed the hope that the new composition of the Russian government will cope with the challenges facing Russia, the citizens of the country in matters of improving the efficiency of the economy, as well as in the fight against poverty.
“We need to ensure that the economy grows above the global average - that’s how the president sets the task. Only in this case problems in the social sphere will be effectively solved. We also hope that the new government will do everything possible so that we can end poverty as soon as possible and increase the well-being of our citizens, ”said the State Duma Speaker.
Volodin emphasized that he associates “serious changes precisely in the economic and social sphere” with the new Cabinet.
“We will work more efficiently to cope with the challenges of today, so that our country lives better, is more competitive, which means that citizens have fewer problems,” he added.
On January 15, the Russian government resigned. The chairman of the Cabinet was appointed head of the Federal Tax Service Mikhail Mishustin.
On January 21, a new composition of the Russian government was announced.
