A third suspect was arrested in the investigation into the death of a police officer, who was deliberately broke during an intervention in Bron. He was placed in police custody on the premises of the judicial police.
It would be a man, aged about twenty, who was arrested near Saint-Etienne in the Loire, we learned from a source close to the file, thus confirming information from Progress. According to the regional daily, he was hiding at a friend's house.

For the investigators, "his participation is acquired" but they are currently trying to determine his precise role on the evening of the drama. During the night of 10 to 11 January, Franck Labois, a 45-year-old policeman, was voluntarily hit by a van during an intervention in Bron, carried out as part of an investigation into cargo thefts. The victim died of his injuries two days later.
The alleged driver was arrested on Monday and placed in pre-trial detention. He denies having deliberately run into the police officer, who was nevertheless trying to arrest him. A 15-year-old minor was also arrested before being imprisoned.
