The stormy Gloria keeps 33 provinces on alert on Monday, with special emphasis on the Balearic Islands and the eastern peninsular third , where 8 continue with a red warning (extreme risk) due to heavy snowfall, 7 meter high waves and maximum wind gusts of 130 kilometers per hour.
The influence of Gloria, which has already caused a mortal victim, will leave locally strong or persistent rainfall today in the eastern Mediterranean area and snowfall in northern mountain areas and in the interior of the peninsular eastern third. The wind will be strong and temperatures will register a decrease in almost the entire country.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) expects cloudy skies or covered with abundant rainfall in the Balearic Islands , Melilla , eastern peninsular third and the Cantabrian .
The rains may be locally strong or persistent in the Balearic Islands, Valencian Community, Catalonia and surrounding areas, and are likely to affect the rest of the southeastern half of the Peninsula, North Plateau and Strait area with less intensity, while in the peninsular interior rainfall may be in the form of snow, more abundant in the eastern third.

Temperatures will fall in most of the country, except in the Balearic Islands, where they will remain unchanged.
