Frenchman Mathieu Herbaut, alias "Zywoo", was voted best player in the world on "Counter Strike: Global Offensive", according to the classification published Monday by the specialized site HLTV.

He won this title in front of Dannois Nicolai “device” (3rd) Reedtz and the Ukrainian Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev (2nd).

Zywoo is the first Frenchman to be awarded this award, a video game equivalent to the Ballon d'Or of France Football.

At 19, he also became the youngest player in the world to win this title, and the first to be crowned after his first year at the professional level.

Gifted with the keyboard, Zywoo has become in record time the ambassador of the new generation of gamers. For a little over a year, he has represented the Vitality team on Counter-Strike - CS for initiates - a PC first-person shooter that is one of the most popular games.

It is thanks to his talent which seems intuitive and his sense of the game, that Vitality has reached the rank of world N.2 on CS.

"Zywoo is undoubtedly the best player in the world today, as well as a true hero on and off the battlefield. What he succeeds at such a young age is staggering, and we are delighted let him do it in our team, under our colors, "said Fabien“ Neo ”Devide, President and co-founder of Team Vitality, on Monday.
