It was on Saturday that a woman in her 90s was called by a person who introduced herself as a police officer. The application was one of several that came in later this weekend. The reports came from the Sölvesborg and Falkvik area.

"The callers must have asked for access to the older women's credit cards," says Michael Hasselberg, internal commander of the Karlskrona police.

The affected women should all be born in the 20s. It is still unclear if home visits have been made by everyone or if there have only been telephone calls.

A man gripped

At 21, on Sunday, a man was arrested in Sölvesborg, suspected of one of Sunday's aging crimes. The man must have pretended to be a police officer and thus come across a woman's possessions.

- We will hold hearings and work intensively to find more suspected offenders, says Michael Hasselberg.

The offenses are classified as a pretense of public standing, fraud, theft and gross theft.
