Earlier, Putin proposed to provide monthly payments for children aged three to seven years inclusive from January 1, 2020.

He also announced the extension of the maternity capital program in Russia until the end of 2026. At the same time, starting in January 2020, families will be able to receive mother capital already at the birth of the first child, and the amount of payments at the birth of the second child will be increased by 150 thousand rubles.
