Bilaal has transferred the preschools to a new company

Since the so-called Umeå mother was taken by Säpo in early May, there have been several rockets in the board of the Bilaal staff cooperative. It is also clear from now public documents that the board transferred the business to a company that was formed just three days before their permission to conduct preschool activities began to be withdrawn by the municipalities in Gävle, Söderhamn and Umeå.

In documents that SVT took part in, it now becomes clear that the Board of Directors of Bilaal has transferred the business to a new company, Kunskap & Kraft AB. The people behind the company already run both schools and preschools in the Stockholm area. They bought on December 9, three days before Bilalals lost their license in Gävle, a so-called warehouse company. A dormant company that is transferred to the one who quickly needs a limited company.

Knowledge & Kraft has applied for permission to conduct preschool operations in Umeå and Söderhamn municipalities, they currently have no plans for any preschool in Gävle. According to the agreement with Bilaal, the takeover is valid from 1 February. The takeover will affect both staff and premises.

- We already have preschools with good pedagogy. We have no connection or knowledge of how it used to be in Bilaal. We want to start a new business with good quality in Umeå and Söderhamn, ”says Mahad Mohamed, who sits on the board of Knowledge & Power.

Now Mahad Mohamed hopes that the two municipalities will start their ownership tests so that they can get approved and start their business. He says that the parents he has been in contact with, who today have their children at Bilaal expressed their concern that they should not be able to get a good placement of the municipality.

- We do not have Muslim enrichment, but we have a multicultural profile. Our preschools have no confessional features.
