• Ukraine. Prime Minister Honcharuk resigns

January 17, 2020 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected the resignation of Prime Minister Oleksyi Honcharuk, who announced them today with a Facebook post.

The decision came after a 'stolen' audio was heard from the head of government's criticism of the president. A rumor that looks like Honcharuk's, but not officially confirmed as his own, claims that President Zelensky has only "primitive" knowledge of economics. Matter that even Honcharuk, in audio, seems to confess not to "chew" too well.

Zelensky, television comedian and entrepreneur, was elected last April. The 'audiogate' affair breaks out at a time that is not very happy for him, with relations with American President Donald Trump under a magnifying glass. The American president has been impeached for trying to put pressure on Zelensky to investigate his political opponent, Joe Biden.
