"An exchange of views is expected on the issues of resolving the Libyan crisis, including the issues of an early cessation of hostilities, reconciliation of the warring parties and the launch of a broad political dialogue under the auspices of the UN," the Kremlin’s press service said.

Key agreements will be recorded in the final document of the conference, noted there.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the Libyan National Army, Khalifa Haftar, agreed to attend the Berlin conference. The event will also be attended by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

The event will take place on January 19th. Haftar, the head of the Libyan National Accord Government Faiz Sarraj, representatives of Russia, the USA, Turkey, Egypt and other countries are invited to it.
