January 17, 2020 Jean Paul Gaultier has announced that the high fashion show scheduled for next Wednesday in Paris will be the last of his 50-year career.

The creative has announced that he will launch into a new project. 'On January 22, 2020 I will celebrate my 50 years of career in the fashion world with a high fashion show-show, at the Thèatre du Chatelet.

The announcement arrived a few days before the Paris fashion week, with the opening of the fashion shows scheduled for Monday.

The 67-year-old designer, who had made his debut in Pierre Cardin's maison, has been a key figure in the fashion world since he turned up the dress codes in the 80s, mixing genres, eras and social classes.
