Ibrahim Abdel Latif Al-Sailis (19 years old), sent by the Ministry of Education to the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, chose to study a Bachelor’s degree in “Politics and International Relations” because of his passion for the political field and his desire to hone his skills that he acquired by participating in several activities, including his membership in Sharjah Children’s Shura Council and Sharjah Youth Council, in addition to participating in the UAE delegation to the United Nations Youth Meeting in New York in 2018.

On his specialization in "politics and international relations", Al-Sulais, a student in the second year, says: "Politics is a broad specialty that includes several sub-disciplines such as political theories, comparative politics, political analysis, political systems, political behavior, and the history of political thought. As for (international relations), it is one of the branches of politics that focuses not only on the political relations that bind states, but also includes economic, social, cultural and historical ties that bind states to each other.

On the experience of alienation, al-Salais mentioned that it is «a school that teaches the scholarship self-reliance and independence and contributes to refining his personality in a way that positively affects his future decisions. Al-Salis had won two educational awards, namely: “Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence and Excellence in 2017,” and the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Excellence in Educational Performance 2018. He also obtained a certificate of excellence from the Sharjah Educational Zone Administration for the 2015-2016 period.
