Earlier media reported that the Balad air base in northern Iraq was subjected to rocket fire.

It was clarified that four Iraqi soldiers were injured in the attack.

Later, the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM) reported that US personnel were not injured in the attack on the Balad base.
