It was at 19 o'clock on Monday evening that the incident must have taken place in central Hofors. The 20-year-old stated that he had been robbed of a jacket and a bag of three unknown persons for him.
Several police patrols were called to the scene but no suspected perpetrators were found.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into robbery.
