The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced the schedule of doctors visiting its hospitals in January, which includes more than 23 elite consultants, who were brought to 10 hospitals affiliated with the Ministry to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients according to the latest international practices.

The services of the visiting doctors program for the month of January benefit the patients who are referred to in several hospitals affiliated to the Ministry, which are Al Qasimi, Kuwait, Khorfakkan, Al Qasimi Hospitals for Women, Maternity and Children in Sharjah, Falcon Hospital, Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Center in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah Hospital, Dibba in Fujairah and Al Amal Hospital in Dubai.

The experiences and specialties of visiting physicians include 20 specialties, including cardiology, orthopedics, interventional cardiology, obesity surgery, neurosurgery, spine, cardiovascular diseases, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, endocrinology, pediatric endocrinology, psychiatry, natural medicine, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, clinical pharmacy, limited intervention for obesity surgery and anesthesiology Intensive care, diseases of the digestive system, plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Sharif, director of the visiting doctors office in the ministry, pointed out the ministry’s keenness to develop the treatment services provided to patients and keep abreast of developments and developments on the global medical scene and the country's ambitious plan for the next fifty years in this field.

He said that the role of the visiting doctors program aims to attract the most important global competencies in complex and rare medical specialties and provide advanced treatment methods that ease patients ’pain and enrich the expertise of the medical staff in the ministry and benefit from global experiences in line with the ministry’s strategy to provide comprehensive and integrated health care services with international standards.
