According to rescuers, a report of carbon monoxide poisoning of five people in a house on Gvardeiskaya Street in Samara arrived at 05:55 local time (04:55 Moscow time).

“As a result of the incident, there are no dead. A man born in 1988, a woman born in 1967 and 1994 were hospitalized in the Samara Regional Clinical Hospital named after Seredavin. In the Samara Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after Ivanova, boys born in 2019 and 2018 were hospitalized. The condition of the victims is assessed as moderate, there is no threat to life, ”the agency reports to RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee reported that the cause of the death of a family of four in a fire in Podolsk could be carbon monoxide poisoning.

Also, the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Bashkortostan organized a preliminary investigation after the discovery on January 6 in a private house in the city of Beloretsk of the bodies of three people with signs of carbon monoxide poisoning.
