“If they show interest in this, we, of course, are ready,” RIA Novosti quoted Ryabkova as saying.
According to him, the American side is aware of Russia's approach to this issue.
“All our approaches were presented to them many times,” Ryabkov said.
He also noted that Moscow is in constant contact within the framework of the participants of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan for the Iranian Nuclear Program (JCPOA).
“Contacts in the first days of the new year were, in fact, daily,” he said.
Ryabkov said earlier that Moscow is calling for restraint on all sides amid the worsening situation around Iran and the risk of new confrontations.
