Lukashenko dismissed from the post of Secretary of State Security Council of Belarus

“Lieutenant-General Stanislav Zas was relieved of the post of State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus in connection with his transfer to another job. The corresponding decree No. 1, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed on January 3, ”the statement said.

As BelTA clarifies, from January 1, he assumed the post of Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

In May 2019, Lukashenko dismissed Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Andrei Vyurin for committing misconduct "discrediting the rank of military man."
