Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services confirmed that it handled 444 reports during New Year's Eve, and the response time ranged between four and five minutes.

And she showed to «Emirates Today» that the total of communications, which she received during the New Year's Eve, from five in the evening December 31, 2019 until three in the morning of the first of January early 2020, reached 444 communications, including 531 cases.

She added that the number of cases transferred to the Foundation’s vehicles amounted to 162, adding that the number of severe cases reached 19 cases, the average is 108 cases, and the minor is 311 cases.

The number of road traffic injuries is 31, and the other 68 are injuries.

The executive director of the Foundation, Khalifa bin Drai, said, “The number of communications in the vicinity of Burj Khalifa reached 74, covering 108 cases, which included one extreme case, 19 medium and 72 simple. The Foundation reported 20 cases of its vehicles in and around the Burj Khalifa area.

He continued, "The Foundation has allocated 212 various ambulance mechanisms, starting from motorcycles and air bikes, and ending with the field hospital." And confirmed the presence of 80 paramedics at the celebration site around the Burj Khalifa and «Dubai Mall».

He pointed out that the Foundation has equipped more than 1,200 ambulance staff, consisting of emergency doctors and technicians specializing in emergency medicine, for urgent intervention.
