The Presidency of the Republic in Algeria warned all the media and various media and communication platforms not to circulate false news, waving the application of the laws of the republic to non-conformists.

The press and communications directorate of the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement today, Saturday, that "the official information is distributed through data from the Presidency of the Republic, to be published through the Algerian News Agency, and without it is classified as propaganda and false news."

The same source added, "The information published through any media outlets or communication platforms, under the pretext of journalism or to delude public opinion near the source of the information, without adhering to the laws of the republic and the ethics of the profession, will expose its owners to the reputations of the laws of the republic."

The same source stated that the President of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Tabun, had announced the organization of periodic press meetings, to explain the general situation that requires calmness and calm, which would allow answering all the concerns of the media family.

He also announced that journalists from various media will be accredited soon, to "cover presidential activities, without discrimination or exclusion, because the new republic is built only by embodying the lofty meaning of the ladder of values."
