The Department of Municipalities and Transport announced that it has opened the door for applying for exemptions from traffic tariffs for the four categories exempted from citizens, calling on the beneficiaries of those exemptions to go to any of the service centers and customer satisfaction of the Integrated Transport Center in Abu Dhabi to fill out the form of the exemption request and provide the necessary documents, Provided that the exemption is for one vehicle per customer, and it is renewed annually according to the same conditions.
The department stated that the list of exempt categories includes "senior citizens" who are defined by the law as every citizen who is 60 years old, where they must go to any of the dealers happiness centers, and provide the official ID and vehicle license registered in the name of the owner of the transaction.
The list included "People of Determination", who can apply for an exemption from the traffic tariff system fees by presenting the Emirates ID card and the People of Determination Card issued by the Ministry of Community Development or Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, in addition to the ownership of their vehicle or one of their first degree relatives And the second only.
The department pointed out that "low-income owners" should enclose with the request for exemption a document or an official document to prove the applicability of the conditions specified by the government agencies competent to support low-income people in the state, with the presentation of the Emirates ID card and vehicle ownership, stressing that it is with regard to "retired citizens". »It is required that the applicant who is a retired citizen and to whom the definition of retired persons accredited with the competent authority in the state meet, a card proving his affiliation with this category, while highlighting the Emirates ID and vehicle ownership.
