The two men, the Colombian and the Senegalese, were injured in a shootout that occurred late Monday evening in the Tuscan city. The alleged assailant has fled and law enforcement is chasing him. The most serious of the wounded appeared immediately the deceased Colombian, hit in the head by a bullet, and transferred with the Pegaso helicopter to the hospital in Siena.

The Senegalese, with chest injuries, was hospitalized in the Grosseto hospital. Law enforcement officers, who are trying to reconstruct the dynamics of the facts, at first intervened for what seemed like a road accident in via della Pace: a car had in fact entered a parking lot at high speed, finishing its race against another parked car with no one inside.

The firefighters and health workers of 118 intervened on the spot, and the conditions of the man driving the car appeared immediately very serious, and the transfer to the Siena hospital was decided where, as far as we learn, the doctors they noticed the gunshot wound to the head.
