The Christmas celebration is free and this is the third year it is being arranged. In the past, around a thousand people have turned up and the nonprofit association Cool minds, which is behind the event, believes in a similar figure this year as well.

- It's very mixed. Everything from the homeless, alone to those who may not have that much money to have a big Christmas table. We have no statistics on who is coming, but everyone is welcome, says Alice Berger, head of staff at Cool minds.

"Welcome climate"

Marielle Sterner is operations manager at Cool Minds. She mentions several aspects of the Christmas celebration at Moriskan, but above all emphasizes one:

- The best part is the welcoming climate. It is really an atmosphere of everyone being welcomed just as they are.

The Christmas party is possible thanks to donations from grocery stores, local entrepreneurs and private individuals. In addition, the nonprofit association Cool minds borrows Moriskan for free.
