It was in September, in Halmstad municipality, that the event took place. The man had lived in the house himself, together with his girlfriend, but when they were done, both moved out. In the store, however, there were still some of their gadgets. At the time, two of his friends lived in the home.
The man says he felt bad that evening and went to fire up the former girlfriend's clothes that were in the store. But the fire quickly grew as he used gasoline and spread into the house where his friends had a party. The friends ran out of the house and called emergency services. The man at the age of 25 ran from the scene.
The man acknowledges the deed. Now he is sentenced to two years and ten months in prison.
