- That's our basic attitude; there are people who can clearly be linked to this terrorist act in Sweden so the Swedish people expect them to be held accountable, says Damberg to TV4 News.

The fourth man arrested just one and a half hours before the deed on Drottninggatan on April 7, 2017 should have had sms contact with Akilov and encouraged him to actually carry out the deed. According to TV4's and Radio Free Europe's review, the two men knew each other well and Akilov must have provided the other with a Swedish sim card.

From Tajikistan

Wednesday, two men were arrested. According to Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty, these are IS recruiter Abu Osama Noraki and IS minister Abu Dovud. The following day, a third arrested man was reported, who allegedly provided Akilov with bomb-making instructions for the terrorist attack.

The man appears in the Security Police's investigation after the attack.

Three of the men, according to sources of Radio Free Europe, have been arrested in the city of Afrin in northwestern Syria, which is now controlled by Turkey. The fourth is in another place in Syria. All four are from Tajikistan, while Akilov is from Uzbekistan.

Judicial review in Sweden

Neither the Security Police nor the Prosecutor's Office wanted to comment on the information.

Damberg points out that terrorist offenses and assistance with terrorist offenses have no limitation period.

Attorney Thomas Bodström, former Minister of Justice (S) and now the plaintiff's assistant to a relative of one of the victims on Drottninggatan, wants the men extradited to Sweden to be tried.

- It is always better to have the judicial review in the country where the crime has been committed, he tells TV4 News.
