According to the document, during the resettlement, the regions will be able, at the expense of the Fund for Assistance to Reform Housing and Public Utilities, to provide owners in need of improved housing conditions with subsidies for the purchase of housing or to compensate for interest on mortgages.
As noted, the fund will act as an agent of the government to provide social payments for the purchase of housing to citizens who are entitled to such payments.
It is expected that the implementation of the initiative will help subjects to be more flexible in solving the problem.
The project was developed by the Ministry of Construction. Amendments are made to the Housing Code and the Housing and Utilities Fund Law.
