December 18, 2019The sentences to Gabriele Defilippi, 30, and to his friend Roberto Obert, at 18 and 9 months, for the murder of Gloria Rosboch, the 49-year-old teacher from Castellamonte (Turin), killed in January of the 2016.

The first criminal section of the Cassation rejected their appeals and confirmed the sentence of the Court of Assizes of Appeal of Turin on December 14 last year.

Gloria Rosboch disappeared on January 13 and her body was found a month later in a landfill in Rivara. According to the indictment, behind the murder there was a scam: Defilippi, his former pupil, convinced her to pay him 187 thousand euros in exchange for the promise of a new life, on the French Riviera. When the woman - as reconstructed from the investigations - realized that they were words in the wind, she asked for the sum to be returned. Shortly afterwards his traces were lost. His body was found on February 19, the autopsy found that it had been strangled. Defilippi, a young lover of disguises, with fifteen profiles on Facebook, admitted that he had killed the woman.

Also sentenced in the first degree to 30 years, in one of the first hearings before the gup of Ivrea he declared himself the only responsible. Obert, sentenced in the first instance at 19, received a slight penalty on appeal. The Supreme Court accepted the requests of Cassation's Pina Casella, who in his indictment asked for confirmation of the sentence, believing that that of Gloria Rosboch was a lucid and heinous crime, performed with an action studied in detail.
