A recent study conducted by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, in cooperation with the University of Sharjah, revealed that the average number of houses required for citizens in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, during the next 10 years (2020 - 2030), is 34,581 homes, while the average number of houses required in the emirate is up to In 2040, to 51,634 dwellings.

The program is currently implementing in the emirate the project “Bateen Al Samar Neighborhood”, and it consists of three groups, which include six different housing models with various facades. The residential villas consist of two bedrooms, three rooms and four bedrooms, and the new residential neighborhood offers a variety of social spaces. Quality and high standard specifications were chosen, and contribute to the sustainability of housing.

The number of its dwellings is 888, and the completion rate in its three phases is about 46%.

It is scheduled for completion in the last quarter of next year.

The program indicated that the project is characterized by the diversity of the housing models used, the style of contemporary and modern facades, in addition to the ability of its housing for vertical and horizontal expansion. The project consists of a huge residential complex of different sizes and sizes, and includes villas of one role and two floors, and includes all the requirements of sustainability.

It also includes all the facilities required for such residential complexes, and many benefits that suit the people of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

The program completed 44% of the first phase, which includes 354 homes, while the second stage includes two groups A and B, 43% of group A, which includes 240 homes, were accomplished, while 51% of group B, which includes 294 homes, were accomplished.

The program adopts the concept of smart buildings in residential neighborhoods, which aims to reduce energy consumption and preserve the environment within the concept of the green economy adopted by the state.
