“If a person is poor, he generally will not be able to take a mortgage, at any rate. Therefore, here you need to think about other options that will more effectively resolve the issue of resettlement of citizens and emergency housing, which do not have sufficient income. It can be, for example, either social housing, or the so-called rental housing, but a mortgage for poor citizens is not entirely correct from my point of view, ”Terentyev emphasized.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that State Duma deputy Dmitry Yurkov proposed resettling residents of emergency houses by mortgage.

He noted that the owners of emergency apartments are often poor citizens. In this regard, they need a mortgage subsidy.

According to the initiative, the mortgage rate will not exceed 3%. In addition, after paying monthly installments on a loan, citizens should have at least two minimum living wages.
