Fabien Roussel, PCF national secretary, and MEP Manon Aubry LFI denounced on Monday respectively the "inadmissible blackmail" and the "choice of decay" made according to them by the government which calls for the end of the strike against the pension reform for the Christmas truce.

The Minister of Economy Bruno Le Maire urged the rail workers on Monday morning not to block the trains for departures during the end of the year holidays.

Block them, "It’s not up to the history of the railroad workers (...), it’s not up to what the French railways are, and therefore during the Christmas period, the trains must run, not for the government, not for the CGT or anyone, but they must run for the French, "he said.

Fabien Roussel, him, on Franceinfo regretted "that the government presented its reform - while for months we say + we do not want point reform + - on December 11 and say + you can not strike because that is going to be Christmas + ".

"So how do we do it?" He asked: "does that mean that (for) the debate we will have to wait for the National Assembly with a majority of Playmobil who raise their hands when the government says to raise it and the reform goes like a letter in the post? "

"This government is making an unacceptable blackmail," he lamented.

At La France insoumise, Manon Aubry denounced the fact that "the government makes the choice of the rotting of the social movement when it has the responsibility to bring concrete answers, to unblock the situation".

"I say to the government + you have the keys to put an end to this situation, withdraw this reform, let us start again on new bases in January, let's negotiate a new pension reform - because we need a reform (...) - and let's have a peaceful holiday + ", she said on BFMTV.
