This was reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Prime Minister’s office.

It is noted that the visit is taking place ahead of the meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission. The parties will discuss trade and economic issues.

“Among them: the functioning of the port of Tartus leased by Russia, options for customs preferences for the supply of Syrian agricultural products to Russia - citrus fruits, olives, olive oil,” the deputy prime minister said.

Also, it is expected that issues of grain supply from Russia to the ATS will be discussed, including supplies through the humanitarian line.

In November, a business delegation from Syria arrived in Crimea to establish contacts.
