Hatem Ben Arfa was dismissed on Monday by the Paris industrial tribunal against Paris SG, from whom he claimed between 7 and 8 million euros for having been excluded from the team for more than a year, learned AFP with both parties.

"The two parties are dismissed," said the striker's lawyer (32), Jean-Jacques Bertrand, adding that he had "no further details" on the motivations of the judges. "Hatem will appeal the judgment," he said.

Contacted also by AFP, the lawyer of the Parisian club, Marie-Hélène Cohen-Guilleminet, specified that the player had been "rejected of all his requests".

The Paris industrial tribunal simply did not want to grant PSG reimbursement of the legal costs it claimed.

The former French international (15 caps), currently without a club, accuses PSG of having sidelined him for extra-sports reasons between April 2017, the date of his last match with PSG, and the end of his contract in summer 2018.

He claimed between 7 and 8 million euros in compensation for the damage suffered, a sum which corresponds to ethics bonuses and unpaid matches.

Arrived from Nice in 2016, Ben Arfa played his last match under the Parisian colors on April 5, 2017, achieving a double and a decisive pass against Avranches (4-0) in the Coupe de France.

According to the Sunday Journal, the management of PSG would not have appreciated that he complained directly to the emir of Qatar, owner of the club, about a lack of communication with President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, present during the exchange.

In mid-October, the two parties had delivered their arguments before the Paris industrial tribunal.

"PSG did not fail in its obligations regarding the non-selection of the player which was decided due to failures in training and his poor sports performance", explained Me Cohen-Guilleminet, the lawyer of the club, according to remarks reported by L'Equipe.

"All the players were surprised that I didn't play, including Neymar, because I was very good at training," replied Ben Arfa, quoted by the sports daily. I was told + you're going to give in, you go crazy + but I'm not afraid of adversity. I stayed because I was convinced I was going to play. "

Ben Arfa went to the end of his contract in the summer of 2018, without playing, before signing, free, in Rennes. With the Breton team, he notably won the final of the Coupe de France in April 2019 against PSG. Since the end of his contract in Rennes, he has not found a base.
