At the end of November, it became known that Iraq's then Defense Minister Najah al-Shammari is investigating suspects of non-contributory crimes and crimes against humanity. At the time, he was registered in a Stockholm suburb but under a different name.
The Tax Agency now confirms that al-Shammari is no longer registered in Sweden.
According to the Swedish Tax Agency, he is still registered as a Swedish citizen.
