Sharjah Police confirmed during an awareness video published on its various sites and platforms on social media as part of its security awareness initiative launched by entitled "Your Responsibilities is Your Responsibility" that there are 5 preventive measures to limit the theft of vehicle contents of individuals, namely:
1. Avoid leaving valuables, funds or documents in the vehicle openly.
2. Be careful not to leave your handbag or purse in the car.
3. Avoid leaving your phone in the car as a storehouse for your secrets.
4. Install appropriate alarms for your vehicle to protect it from theft.
5. Do not hesitate to call 999 when a car or person following you is suspected on the road
