Dominated, FC Barcelona avoided the worst at Real Sociedad on Saturday (2-2) for the 17th day of Liga, thanks to Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez, but could lose its place as leader and arrives filled with doubts for Clasico, Wednesday (8 p.m.).

Led 1-0 after 12 minutes of play and a penalty converted by Mikel Oyarzabal, the Barcelona leader equalized by Griezmann (38th), even passed by Suarez (49th), but was joined by the opportunistic goal of Alexander Isak (62e) for the Basques.

Like the move from Real Madrid to Valencia on Sunday evening (9:00 p.m.), that of the Catalans to Real Sociedad, solid 4th in Liga, looked dangerous before the poster between the two giants on Wednesday.

Barça avoided the worst, but trembled: the goals of Griezmann, returned to his best level and who equalized (without celebrating) with a nice ball pitted against his old team, and Luis Suarez, author of 2-1 in an empty cage on a Messi gift, do not allow the Blaugranas to approach the Clasico serenely.

Despite the defensive solidity shown by Clément Lenglet and Gerard Piqué, precious in duels, and the return of injury from Jordi Alba, the Barcelona curtain experienced the worst difficulties in containing Martin Odegaard, Oyarzabal and others ... and asked questions, to four days of the great test against Real Madrid's offensive firepower at Camp Nou.

With a mixed performance, Sergio Busquets distinguished himself by his bright openings in the second period, but also caused part of the rout of Barça: he is responsible for the penalty for a jersey draw on Diego Llorente in the area (11th ), and absent from the marking on the equalizing goal of the young Swedish striker Isak (20 years old), opportunist on a ball released in his feet by Marc-André ter Stegen.

Despite an Antoine Griezmann back in top form, the Catalans were dominated for a big hour of play (19 strikes for Real Sociedad against 9 for Barça), taking the incursions of the Basques, led by a gala Odegaard.

With this draw in San Sebastian, Barça (35 pts) still provisionally keeps first place in the Spanish championship, before the move of its Real Madrid runner-up to Mestalla on Sunday evening (9 p.m.).
