Pushkov appreciated the statement of Kiev on the possibility of introducing UN peacekeepers in the Donbass

The politician noted that without Russia's consent in the UN Security Council, no one will be able to send peacekeepers to the Donbass, so Kiev should stop fantasizing on this topic and focus on withdrawing the armed forces from the contact line.

“In Paris, this was not discussed. They expect steps from the world to Kiev, not fantasies, ”he said.

Earlier, Priestayko said that if a settlement of the conflict in Donbass cannot be reached on the basis of the Minsk agreements, Kiev may turn to the UN with a request to introduce missions to the region.
