The Anti-Narcotics Department at the General Command of Ras Al-Khaimah Police has revealed the issuance of a “To Whom It May Concern” certificate, to those who are committed and disciplined, in the event they stop addiction, with the aim of helping them return to their institutions to work, noting that the Ministry of Social Affairs is addressed in some cases, To give them monthly salaries, until they can get a job.

In detail, the head of the technical support department in the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, Lt. Col. Sultan Khaled Al Qasimi, told «Emirates Today» that “the police contribute to the integration of people recovering from addiction into society, after they prove their commitment and discipline, and stop them from addiction, through Issuing a certificate (To Whom It May Concern) to help them return to their institutions and restore their positions there. Or she addresses the Ministry of Social Affairs to allocate monthly salaries to them, until they can get a job. ”

He pointed out that "youth are the most abusers of drugs, for six reasons: they are inside a circle of bad companions, free time, lack of employment, family problems, traveling outside the state and mixing with others there, and love of experience."

Al-Qasimi said that the administration is making great efforts to reintegrate the released persons into drug issues into society, by subjecting them to after-care programs in the periodic examination, with the aim of ensuring that they do not return to drug use. He stated that the Ras Al Khaimah Police, represented by the Anti-Narcotics Department, takes all causes through secret plans and programs to reduce drugs, by drying their sources, arresting drug traffickers, promoters and users, and coordinating with other police departments to exchange information about those involved in this trade.
