Complex, so describes Anette Eriksson, new coordinator for the Council Hälsingegårdar, the world heritage site. In 2012, UNESCO appointed seven Hälsingegårds as World Heritage Sites, but there are over 1,000 similar farms in the landscape.

Many players are involved, ranging from private homeowners to stakeholders who want to attract tourists.

- Hälsingegårdarna will remain for the future, at the same time we should have it open to disseminate knowledge and allow people to visit the world heritage. We are discussing that balance, says Anette Eriksson.
