The law, as noted, proposes to allow tobacco smoking in special isolated rooms that are equipped with ventilation systems and are organized at airports.

It is assumed that they will be located in areas that are designed to locate passengers registered for the flight after a pre-flight inspection and areas for passengers traveling in transit.

The law establishes that such smoking rooms should be located so that "the possibility of observing tobacco smoking from other rooms is excluded."

On December 10, the corresponding draft law was adopted by the State Duma in the second reading.

Deputy Gennady Onishchenko also commented on Nation News about the idea of putting airports into the smoking room for money.
