“At the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region, the calculations of the new operational-tactical missile system (OTRK) Iskander successfully completed a combat training launch of a ballistic missile. As a result of a point missile strike, a target at a distance of about 60 km was hit, simulating a fortified control post of an illegal armed formation, ”the agency reports to RIA Novosti.
The press service noted that the missile hit occurred without deviations. The training launch was carried out as part of the final stage of development of the Iskander complex kit.
Earlier it became known that the calculations of the Iskander missile system were raised by alarm as part of tactical and special exercises in the Astrakhan region.
